has lived in Brighton since 1999 and during this time she has continually educated herself in all the things she is passionate about. She is constantly amazed at the transformation that comes about from her wholistic approach. A client's needs are not generally single faceted and therefore need healing in more than one area of their life. This is why Michele has created a unique ecclectic approach helping her clients heal. Her areas of expertise and knowledge allow her to help clients on a physical, emotional and/or psychological level. Sound: Gong Master Michele's wholistic approach was sparked by her interest in neuroscience, psychology and its relationship with the body and how it functions. Upon finishing school she went to Medical College where she laid the foundations of her human anatomy/physiology knowledge, and from this point has continuously built on it. Michele believes knowledge is everything and you should never stop learning because it is fun as well as rewarding. What Michele has to say:- Yoga:- "In all the time I have been practicing and teaching yoga, it never ceases to bring me an immense sense of gratitude. All my students are such an inspiration to me and I feel very fortunate to be present when they experience their minor miracles. These minor miracles could be a physical release, reaching a personal challenge or perhaps a state of consciousness. All are simply amazing". I believe that practice of Ahimsa (non-harming) in thought, word or deed, will truly allow ones mind and body to blossom and grow. The beauty of yoga is that it creates strength, flexibility, as well as the ability to be present, a state of mind that is very much lost in today's fast paced life". BackFIT Pilates:-
"Pilates is a fitness regime that combines fitness with mindfulness.
Creating strength in the two main deep stability muscles to promote
strength in the pelvis and lower back. It helps develop mobility gently
yet concisely into the shoulders, neck, hips and knees". Aqua:
- "A brilliant way to exercise whilst having fun. The water makes the
body buoyant taking the strain off the joints, and helps rehabilitate
any injury faster. Aqua is far more challenging than people think, this is why
I have used this method of exercise with the 'Seagulls' Brighton &
Hove Albion football team as part of their pre-season training". Aqua-Yoga:-
"This has the same benefits as land yoga, but allows those who find
land yoga too physically challenging due to physical constraints, to
participate and enjoy. It incorporates (pranayama) breathing exercises,
adapted sun salutations, postures and relaxation to encapsulate, a full
yogic class experience. Again truly wonderful". Psychotherapy: GongBath: Accreditations :- British Wheel of Yoga (UK's Yoga Governing Body), Sunpower Yoga 500hr Advanced, Aquayoga, Level 3 Register of Exercise Professionsals (REPs) UK's Fitness Governing Body,
