"the Yoga Holiday to Dalyan in Turkey that Michele Winter organised exceeded all my expectations: the location was idyllic, the food and weather was great, the rest of the group were lovely and friendly and the fantastic yoga classes left me feeling energised and much fitter than before. Michele was always helpful, supportive and so knowledgeable and was able to provide many useful tips about health matters and how yoga can really benefit the mind as well as the body. In addition, there were trips to the Mud Baths and a Spa Centre. I really look forward to my twice weekly yoga
classes at Withdean Sports Centre. When Michele arranged a Yoga Holiday in
Turkey I just had to go!!
It exceeded my expectations - which were already
high! Imagine morning and evening Sun Power Yoga on the sun terrace of the
beautiful Villa Gokbel, a small family run hotel, which us yogis took over for 7
days and had sole use of! The backdrop to our yoga sessions was the stunning
Turkish scenery of mountains, trees and blue, blue sky. The morning and evening
yoga was the bonus of an already amazing holiday, as the area Michele chose was
in a nature reserve of unspoilt delta, rural and uncommercialised. With
beautiful walks, wild tortoises and turtles to see, and a friendly hotel owner
who obligingly drove us to the local beach, town or Turkish Baths daily on
request, it was a great holiday. Fourteen individual people went, most not
knowing each other, and all at varying stages of experience from absolute
beginners to some having practised for years; and fourteen friends with a common
love of yoga returned. I shall definitely go on the next yoga holiday. When is
it Michele????
